Commercial Manager Construction Chemicals

Job Description

Responsibilities

  1. Shaping the company commercial strategy and analyzing the market, highlighting new products  to suite available opportunities, in strict coordination with Regional team (Product Line Manager, Project Development Manager, Area Manager) as well as with the General Manager
  2. Developing tactics, sales plans and profit targets in line with the preset sales strategy
  3. Manage and motivate direct reporting staff in accordance with the company procedure and policy
  4. Propose new recruitment for direct reporting team in strict coordination with GM and Regional HR
  5. Provide the necessary input and information to the Regional Team (Product Line Manager, Project Development Manager, Area Manager) on the local market for the selection of the products to be introduced into the local market as well as provide inputs for new product development
  6. F) Set goals and the key performance criteria and accountabilities within the department
  7. Managing (if required ) the overall activities of customer services department by analyzing the department reports submitted on monthly bases .

Functions and main activities

FUNCTIONS AND MAIN ACTIVITIES
1 Developing strategy, tactics, sales plans and profit targets based on forecasts in strict coordination with Regional team (Product Line Manager, Project Development Manager, Area Manager) as well as with the General Manager
2 Delivering sales by developing relationships with clients and top management
3 Identifying business opportunities in target markets
4 Create a project data base
5 Increasing market share in existing markets and maximize on evolving new opportunities
6 Achieving targeted revenue, profitability and sales growth
7 Setting sales targets for individual key account manager, sales engineer and providing direction to sales team & customer services staff in accordance of company guidelines
8 Identify needs for additional sales team members in line with the company growth plan discussed and agreed in the yearly budget, in strict coordination with GM and Regional HR.
9 Allocate customers base and geographical territories, to sales team
10 Developing sales strategies and setting targets in strict coordination with Regional team (Product Line Manager, Project Development Manager, Area Manager)
11 Monitoring team’s performance and motivating them to reach targets; ensure that all team members use CRM as per the company requirements
12 Dealing with selected major clients and customer accounts on specific matters
13 Frequently reporting back to the General Manager as well as the Regional team (Product Line Manager, Project Development Manager, Area Manager) on market development
14 Prepare a monthly sales report analyzing sales vs budget vs payment
15 Keeping up to date with new products and competitors activities and sharing the information with the relevant Regional functions involved (Product Line Managers, Project Development Manager, Area Manager)
16 Closely coordinate with the General Manager as well as the Regional team (Product Line Manager, Project Development Manager, Area Manager) and marketing departments to shape the company strategy in relation to commercial parameters
17 Identify new commercial opportunities and drive the company growth across the product range
18 input toward the formulation of the company policy and strategy
19 Manage and motivate direct reporting staff in accordance with the company guideline, policy
20 Identify the needs and support the recruitment process of direct reporting staff, in strict coordination with GM and Regional HR.
21 Manage and implement sales strategy
22 Proactively contribute to the preparation of the Marketing Plan in strict coordination with the General Manager as well as the Regional team (Product Line Manager, Project Development Manager, Area Manager)
23 Plan and coordinate activities with marketing department to implement customer retention and development scheme and putting necessary input in shaping the resellers and distributors strategy
24 Manage relevant reports of management and finical information for the sales department
25 Give necessary input and guideline to the Regional Product Line Managers for new product development
26 Proactively revise the min. stock levels
27 Follow up on undelivered orders in Microsoft Dynamics
