Job Description and Responsibilities: Supervise overall supplier / Contractors management International and domestic supplier & Contractors Experience Manage the implementation of material purchasing / Contracts in close proximity to planning supervisor / manager while controlling inventory Follow up with policies, procedures and material control systems/ Project management Strong ability to identify and solve problems in and out of immediate work area and ensure materials are ordered and in stock / Project to meet all revenue commitments and strategic objectives while maintaining acceptable inventory levels Accountable for supporting functional excellence to reach business objectives Responsible for leading Projects and/or direct reports within the business unit to improve (Supply agreements, Min/Max agreements, , Consignment/Vendor Managed Inventory Programs) Continuously improve material management / Project Management processes to drive better business results Monitor effective purchasing procedures. Build and maintain strong supplier / Contractor relationships Assist department managers in identifying the most effective and compliant way to procure material / Project
Education and Work Experience: Bachelor’s degree Or MBA in Business Operations, Finance or related subject OR equivalent work experience in Purchasing field 7+ years of experience in purchasing for high-tech manufacturing, including experience in the following: measuring supplier capability and capacity, annual cost and inventory reduction Previous team leadership experience, Project Management direct supervisory experience strongly preferred including talent development and resource planning Previous experience with ERP/MRP systems, Oracle preferred Microsoft Office Experience and PowerPoint Presentation Skills Demonstrated supplier/Contractor negotiation, decision-making, organizational and communication skills Demonstrated analytical ability and detail orientation
